Senior Landscape Architect: Master Planner

The Role
We are seeking a Senior Landscape Architect with 5 to 10 years' experience in a similar role to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading landscape projects from concept to completion, liaising with directors to determine fees and time frames, reporting on progress and billing cycles, and managing staff to deliver projects within agreed time frames and budgets.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and presentation skills, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work to deadlines while prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities. They will also be proficient in Vectorworks, Adobe suite, MS office, Sketchup, and hand illustration, with experience in preparing 3D visualizations and managing BIM being a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead landscape projects from concept to completion
- Liaise with Directors to determine appropriate fees and achievable time frames for work and to manage personal workflows
- Report to Directors on progress and billing cycles
- Manage self and staff to deliver projects to agreed time frames and budgets
- Undertake contract documentation, specification writing, contract administration inclusive of variations, project advice notices and claims, quality control and OH+S reporting
- Assist Directors in improving practice systems, policy and processes
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders and sub-consultants
Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Terms of engagement are negotiable, working conditions are defined by Fair Work Australia, and the salary package will be commensurate with experience.
