We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to lead our kitchen team at Roseville Retirement Living. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional catering and hospitality services to our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen and dining operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and high-quality food presentation.
  • Work closely with the food and beverage team to develop and implement new menu ideas and events.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the community manager to ensure alignment with business objectives and resident needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a casual dining kitchen setting, preferably in a retirement village or similar environment.
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and qualified Food Safety Supervisor.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Current Police Check clearance and minimum two COVID-19 vaccinations.
