Job Title: Maintenance Superintendent Lead

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead the maintenance teams at our Lake Vermont Coal Project. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of annual targets within project parameters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legislative standards, conducting inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor your team to deliver planned works and meet performance targets.
  • Develop and manage maintenance plans to achieve plant availability, production schedules, and goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes, introducing cost-saving measures, and enhancing safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry competencies: RIIRIS301A, RIICOM301B, RIIOHS301A.
  • Substantial experience managing operational teams in the mining industry.
  • Proficiency with financial, automation, and scheduling packages.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
