A key leadership position is available for a dedicated professional to lead maintenance teams and deliver planned works in a coal project environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient delivery of targets within the project scope.
About the Role- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legislative standards, conducting regular inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Lead, coach, and mentor your team to achieve performance targets and optimize plant availability.
- Develop and manage maintenance plans to meet production schedules and goals.
- Monitor and control costs, reviewing expenses and identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
- Drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes, introducing cost-saving measures, and enhancing safety, reliability, and efficiency.
You are a proactive leader with extensive experience in coal operations and a track record of driving results in a mining environment.
Key Requirements- Relevant Coal Mining Industry competencies: RIIRIS301A, RIICOM301B, RIIOHS301A.
- Substantial experience managing operational maintenance teams in the mining industry.
- Proficiency with financial, automation, and scheduling packages.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
