**Role Description/Criteria**

Local selection criteria includes:
Work collaboratively with all others in the Catholic school community to strengthen and actively promote the Catholic Vision and Mission of the school.

As an instructional leader, demonstrate an ability to embed a culture of high expectation of student learning and build expert teacher practice which is evidence based, high impact and inclusive.

Model effective leadership strategies that acknowledge and support the ongoing professional learning and wellbeing of all staff.

In conjunction with the Principal, ensure that the school’s human, physical and financial resources are efficiently allocated and managed, including ongoing compliance with Child Safe Standards and the VRQA.

Develop a mutually supportive, collaborative and trusting relationship with the community to ensure engagement in the life of the school and deepen the engagement of parents in student learning.

The successful applicant will have:
Current VIT registration or equivalent

Qualifications in addition to initial teacher study

A commitment to uphold the Child Safe Standards
