We are seeking a skilled and passionate team member to join our crew at Cape Byron Distillery.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who shares our values and has a passion for sustainability, cocktails, and excellent customer service. The role will involve telling the story of Cape Byron Distillery, educating guests about distillation, preparing and serving mixed drinks, opening and closing the cellar door, managing stock and transactions, and adhering to liquor license regulations and COVID restrictions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a current NSW RSA, have strong communication and public speaking skills, knowledge of distilled spirits, and a valid driver's license. It would also be an asset if you have a First Aid Certificate and a strong interest in environmental protection and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Telling the story of Cape Byron Distillery
  • Educating guests about distillation and Australian native botanicals
  • Preparing and serving mixed drinks and cocktails
  • Opening and closing of the cellar door
  • Managing stock and day-to-day transactions accurately
  • Adhering to liquor license regulations and COVID restrictions

Requirements:

  • Current NSW RSA
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills
  • Knowledge of distilled spirits, including gin and single malt whisky
  • Australian citizenship or valid working visa
  • Valid driver's license
  • First Aid Certificate (an asset)
