Lead Kitchen Coordinator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Kitchen Coordinator to oversee our catering operations and assist in planning and preparing nutritious meals for residents.

This is a full-time, ongoing position offering competitive pay rates, flexible shifts, and access to generous salary packaging.

  • Salary: $75,000 - $82,000 per annum (plus superannuation)
  • Competitive pay rates
  • Flexible shifts available across a 14-day roster

In this role, you will work as part of a talented Hospitality team to enhance residents' dining experiences by sharing your culinary skills and embodying our values. Your role will significantly contribute to residents' quality of life by ensuring appetizing and nutritious meals are provided.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Food handling, preparation, and cooking of meals
  • Cooking and presenting food, ensuring timely delivery of quality meals
  • Basic record keeping (e.g., number of meals per day, missed meals)
  • Stock control, ordering (food, cleaning products), receiving, checking, weighing, and storing

What You Will Bring:

  • Certificate III in Cookery
  • Compassion, sensitivity, and maturity to provide high-quality meals
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen within a healthcare environment (desired)
