Purpose

The Kitchen Steward plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen, supporting the team to deliver excellent dining experiences.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure cleanliness of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment using dishwashers and manual cleaning
  • Handle rubbish removal, sweeping, and mopping kitchen floors
  • Disinfect and clean surfaces following proper chemical usage
  • Assist the kitchen team with basic food prep, including grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing garnishes and seasonings

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in kitchen operations or cleaning is advantageous
  • Positive attitude and motivated approach
  • Ability to work well within a diverse, fast-paced team
  • Flexible availability for shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
