Legal Advisor

We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on complex matters related to competition and consumer law.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and the ability to provide strategic and policy advice on mergers and exemptions law.
Key responsibilities include conducting thorough legal research into complex matters, assisting with investigations and court proceedings, and drafting complex court documents.
You will work closely with external lawyers and other teams to achieve our goals. Requirements for this role include admission as a practitioner of the High Court or the Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory.
Experience in working effectively as a lawyer advising and guiding line areas is essential, as is the ability to work under tight timeframes.
