About This Opportunity

This is a Permanent, full-time Classroom Teacher opportunity to commence Term 1, 2025. The successful applicant will collaborate with our dynamic teaching team to assist all students in achieving success.

Salary: $70,000 - $120,000 per year

Role Details:

  • Classroom Teacher role with opportunities for growth and development

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement differentiated teaching programs that cater for the needs of all students, especially vulnerable students
  2. Communicate and work collaboratively in teams to plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate learning
  3. Enable students to use information technology on a daily basis to enhance their learning
  4. Deliver a child-centred approach to education, where students are actively engaged in the learning process

Requirements:

  • A sound knowledge of, and commitment to, the Mission of the Catholic school and relevant Religious Education qualifications
  • A high standard of competency and proficiency as a teacher and familiarity with best practices, especially in developing literacy and numeracy skills of students with learning difficulties
  • Demonstrated knowledge of how to use targeted feedback and data to inform teaching and learning

The appointment of the successful applicant will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment, including a valid Working with Children Check and adoption of CSPD's Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
