Distinguished Education Professional for Permanent Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to join our dynamic teaching team at St Paul the Apostle, Winston Hills. As a Permanent, full-time Classroom Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.
Our school is part of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese's system of 80 Catholic primary and secondary schools, serving over 43,500 students across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains. We pride ourselves on providing a high-quality, low-fee Catholic education that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
The successful candidate will possess a sound knowledge of and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic school, with relevant Religious Education qualifications. They will also demonstrate expertise in developing literacy and numeracy skills, particularly for students with learning difficulties.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with our teaching team to create differentiated teaching programs tailored to the needs of all students, especially vulnerable ones. You will use targeted feedback and data to inform your practice and implement evidence-based strategies to enhance student outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons. They will also be committed to delivering a child-centred approach to education, where students are actively engaged in their learning.
This position involves working with children, and the appointment of the successful candidate will be subject to satisfactory employment screening, including a valid Working with Children Check and compliance with CSPD's Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.

An estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000, based on level and experience.
