About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Educator to join our team at YMCA NSW. As a key member of our Children Services Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to primary school-age children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging activities for children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters learning and growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with children, parents, and teachers to ensure a seamless transition between home and school.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of programs that cater to diverse needs and interests.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including:

  • A base salary of AU$60,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.
