Job Title: Compliance Officer

 

A leading organisation is seeking a dedicated and experienced compliance officer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of the organisation's operations, protecting its assets and reputation.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead compliance monitoring and investigations to prevent and mitigate fraud.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gathering evidence and providing comprehensive briefings to inform administrative and court-based actions against fraudulent activities.
  • Collaborate with government agencies and task force partners to share information and address quality and safeguarding risks related to fraud and misuse of funds.
  • Oversee and assess the impact of regulatory actions, prioritising large-scale disruption activities to combat fraudulent practices.
  • Engage across the organisation, deploying cross-functional strategies to comprehensively address compliance issues.
  • Contribute to capability building, developing educational initiatives for fraud prevention and awareness.
  • Lead a small team, ensuring efficient work processes to achieve fraud prevention and compliance monitoring goals.

 

Requirements:
  • Australian Citizen
  • Will to undergo Police Check
  • Eligibility to obtain Baseline Clearance, active clearance highly desirable
