**Job Title:** Electrical Design Lead for Data Centre Innovation

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for driving innovation and shaping the future of data centre design. As a seasoned electrical design expert, you will take the lead in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading consultant outputs to improve performance, cost, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Reviewing and challenging consultant outputs to ensure alignment with technical specifications, operational needs, and project milestones.
  • Engaging in design workshops and providing input into design standards.
  • Overseeing concept design reviews and ensuring continuous improvement across all phases of development.
  • Supporting bid and proposal teams by providing technical input for tenders and customer proposals.
  • Modeling electrical load distribution and evaluating capacity.
  • Providing risk insights around redundancy, resiliency, and operational reliability.
  • Participating in construction inspections and integrated systems testing (IST) to validate build quality.
  • Developing technical documentation including feasibility reports, scopes, and risk assessments.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in electrical engineering design or consulting, preferably in critical environments such as data centres.
  • Proven ability to manage technical design across full project life cycles from concept to construction to operation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical infrastructure, including UPS systems, electrical switchgear, and PDUs.
