Lead Electrical Design Engineer Role

We are seeking an ambitious electrical design engineer to take on a high-profile role within the data centre industry.

This is a mission-critical position that requires a skilled and experienced engineer to lead the design and delivery of data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine electrical designs for brownfield and greenfield data centre projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and project specifications.
  • Maintain close relationships with clients to understand their requirements, present conceptual designs, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, hydraulics, fire, security, and building management systems (BMS), to integrate comprehensive data centre designs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in data centre projects, with a strong understanding of electrical designs up to 22kV.
  • Knowledge and experience working with uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and standby generators.
  • Professional or Chartered Engineer status, or on the pathway to achieving it.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to their growth and development.
