Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic professional to fill the position of Employment Coach. This role involves guiding individuals with disability in achieving meaningful employment outcomes.
About the Job:
The Employment Coach will work in a supportive team environment, providing guidance and mentoring to participants. They will facilitate engaging learning experiences, adapt content to suit individual learning styles, and guide participants through their employment journey with professionalism and a strengths-based approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate group and one-on-one learning sessions focused on employment readiness and goal achievement.
- Adapt content and delivery methods to suit individual learning needs.
- Prepare and complete all required documentation and reporting related to Employment Assistance.
- Capture, record, and communicate participant progress in a timely manner.
- Foster a collaborative working style that reflects Aruma's values and purpose.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting people with disability, preferably in employment or vocational contexts.
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to tailor content to diverse learners.
- Organised, proactive, and committed to creating inclusive opportunities for others.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including conflict resolution and escalation.
- Skilful in building positive relationships across community and industry networks.
- High-level administration skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
