Description:This role provides comprehensive financial guidance to survivors of family violence, helping them navigate financial hardship and achieve financial stability.
- Deliver high-quality financial advisory services to clients with diverse and complex needs, including those experiencing financial abuse or family violence.
- Utilize trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and empowerment-based approaches to support clients in achieving their financial goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to contribute to strategic and operational outcomes for client services.
- Advocate and negotiate on behalf of clients with financial institutions, service providers, and external dispute resolution agencies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and financial advisory practices, and provide accurate advice to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong networks with external agencies and within the financial advisory sector to support client outcomes.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with organisational standards, reporting requirements, and professional registration.
- Represent the organisation in professional forums and working groups, contributing to systemic advocacy and sector development.
