Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 8-10 direct reports.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives, reducing costs through efficient working, careful scoping, procurement, and innovative design solutions.
  • Manage RES Australia's technical strategy and risk exposure for development projects, including resource monitoring and layout design.
  • Negotiate third-party consultancy agreements and support construction contracts negotiations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive understanding of wind and solar layout design and energy yield best practices.
  • Good understanding of consultancy contracts or agreements and identifying technical risks within contracts.
  • Thorough understanding of power generation economics and financial models.
  • Leadership and time management skills.
  • Ability to navigate technical problems implementing a 'best for project' approach.
