We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our renewable energy strategy across the Asia Pacific Japan region. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving innovative solutions to unlock new renewable and carbon-free energy opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute a comprehensive carbon-free energy and utilities strategy for AWS data centers;
* Lead investment activities with a focus on renewable transactions from early-stage development through commercial operations;
* Conduct market analysis, transaction origination, (co-)development, structuring, business, and financial diligence;

Requirements:

* 10+ years of experience in the energy/infrastructure/finance industry;
* Proven experience in structured energy transactions and complex contract negotiations;
* Deep understanding of PPAs, investment models, and project finance documentation;
* Strong written and communication skills;

Preferred Qualifications:

* 15+ years of relevant experience in energy markets, energy trading, power contract negotiations, energy regulations, renewable development, or energy generation technologies;
* Existing network with developers, IPPs, utilities, funds, financiers, governments, and/or multilaterals in the APJC region;
* Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills and attention to details;

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range estimated between $180,000 and $250,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
