About the Role

The Renewable Energy Technology Specialist will provide technical expertise for the design, commissioning, and operation of assets, ensuring seamless integration with existing SCADA and business systems. This role will also support the OT team with operational works such as minor projects and managing contractor interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise for development and construction projects, from design through to construction and connection process.
  • Technical management of project deliverables to ensure they meet internal specification requirements and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with network service providers and the Australian Energy Market Operator to gain approval on SCADA deliverables and testing requirements.
  • Conduct acceptance testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems meet specified requirements.
  • Integrate new projects with existing SCADA and business systems.
  • Manage outstanding punch list items from construction projects.
  • Perform minor changes, troubleshooting, and support for SCADA and OT operational systems.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About You

We are looking for individuals with a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 2 years of relevant SCADA experience. You should have a strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and experience in OT, including active directory, group policies, Windows administration, networks, industrial communication protocols, backup and recovery, system monitoring, and cybersecurity.
