Operations Supervisor - Returns and Refunds

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Supervisor to manage the efficient processing of customer returns and refunds.

The Reverse Logistics team plays a crucial role in ensuring a great customer experience by minimizing return processing times and maximizing item disposition rates.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as return processing time, item disposition rates, and backlog to optimize operations.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to plan labor during peak periods and ensure production continuity.
  • Conduct regular Gemba walks to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new hires and process launches, ensuring that both internal and external teams have the necessary skills.
  • Provide problem-solving support for complex issues related to reverse logistics.
  • Follow up on technical issue tickets based on feedback from fulfillment centers, using established procedures.
  • Prioritize and provide timely feedback on customer return issue tickets.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of operational experience.
  • Proficient in using data analysis tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in e-commerce or retail industries.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement methodologies and their application in process improvement.
  • Knowledge of Gemba walk techniques and process improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrable training and dissemination skills and experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
