Role Summary

The Agricultural Sales Operations Leader will oversee the operational and sales functions of a large-scale agricultural rental business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage product development, procurement, sales operations, and administration for a high-performing agricultural rental unit.
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to align with seasonal demand and operational objectives.
  • Nurture key relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, delivery schedules, and order processing to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform product selection and pricing decisions.
About You
  • Possess a tertiary qualification in Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Bring extensive experience in agricultural procurement or sales operations, preferably within large-scale farming.
  • Have strong knowledge of agricultural inputs, market dynamics, and farming practices.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and procurement platforms.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to work collaboratively across teams, with a willingness to travel to suppliers and customers.
