Quality Assurance Manager Role Overview

This position involves contributing to the development and implementation of various policies and procedures aimed at ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, and brand requirements.

The Quality Assurance Manager will deliver key results by providing technical support for quality and regulatory compliance to all stores. This includes participating in strategic projects supporting continuous improvement in areas of quality and regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise and foster effective business relationships between corporate quality assurance and assigned stores.
  • Support continuous improvement in sanitation, quality, and regulatory compliance areas.
  • Conduct compliance assessments and support store corrective and preventative action processes through coaching and indirect influencing of key stakeholders.
  • Assist development and implement onboarding strategies for new store locations in collaboration with cross-functional leaders.
  • Analyze current quality processes for improvement to support delivery of key results.
  • Collaborate with other functions including supply chain, operations, inventory control, finance, merchandising, transportation, category management, sales, and field leadership on matters impacting quality and regulatory compliance and store operations.
Relationships:
  • Internal: Close collaboration with food safety and quality functions, store teams, supply chain, operations, merchandising, sales, category management, internal audit, ethics & compliance, and legal.
  • External: Government regulatory agencies, manufacturers, vendors, customers, consultants, certification bodies, and third-party stakeholders.
Work Environment:
  • Remote: This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform responsibilities from a home-based environment.
