We are seeking an experienced Legal Document Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, edit, and format complex legal documents
- Create and manage Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities
- Conduct online research to verify court-specific filing requirements
- Perform electronic filing through ECF, PACER, and third-party platforms
- Utilize advanced tools in Adobe Acrobat Pro X
- Transcribe legal dictation
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal staff
- Minimum of five years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal department
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with templates, macros, and legal formatting standards
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
