Job Opportunity for Senior Pipeline Engineer

The role of a Senior Pipeline Engineer is pivotal in the development and delivery of high-quality engineering solutions for oil and gas pipelines.

This permanent, full-time position based in Brisbane CBD requires an experienced professional to lead and mentor junior engineers, provide technical support in engineering processes, and develop design studies.

Key responsibilities include leading project teams, developing detailed design calculations, participating in risk assessment workshops, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

To succeed in this challenging role, candidates should possess strong background knowledge of pipeline design, Australian Standards, and relevant industry regulations. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and at least 8 years of experience in the field are also essential requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor junior engineers in delivering high-quality engineering solutions
  • Provide technical support in engineering processes for oil and gas pipelines
  • Develop and support FEED and Designs studies
  • Participate in risk assessment workshops
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and team members

Requirements:

  • Strong background knowledge of pipeline design, including concept development, FEED, and detail design phases
  • Proven Australian experience in pipeline design and relevant industry regulations
  • Experience with AS2885 and other relevant Australian Standards
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelines and associated assemblies
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
