Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing technical support in the Engineering and Design processes for oil and gas pipelines.

Key responsibilities include developing and supporting FEED and Designs studies, including detailed design calculations, and participating in Risk assessment & SMS workshops. You will also be required to communicate proactively with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering degrees.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelines and associated assemblies.
  • Proven Australian experience in pipeline design, including concept development, FEED and detail design phases, and knowledge of Pipeline Integrity and Operations and Maintenance philosophies.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian Standards, acts, regulations, and codes related to the pipeline industry.
  • Engineers Australia Chartered Engineer or equivalent, and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (current or eligible to attain).
  • Ability to perform engineering tasks with minimal supervision, manage your time and work independently, and manage the workload and utilisation of junior engineers.
  • Proven experience with mentoring junior engineers.
