Job Description

The chosen individual will be responsible for providing technical support, developing and supporting FEED and Designs studies, and participating in Risk assessment & SMS workshops. This will involve:

  • Providing expert technical guidance in engineering and design processes for oil and gas pipelines.
  • Developing and supporting comprehensive FEED and Designs studies, including detailed design calculations.
  • Participating in risk assessment and safety management system workshops to ensure compliance and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of pipeline design strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery, meeting scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals, business cases, and technical reports, showcasing expertise and thought leadership.

Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering complex pipeline design projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and innovation.
  • Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field, with significant experience in pipeline design and management.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Australia, with a strong understanding of Australian Standards, Acts, Regulations, and Codes related to the pipeline industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, from project managers to junior engineers.
