As a pipeline integrity expert, you will play a pivotal role in the transition to sustainable energy systems.

The Role
  • You will provide critical advice to clients on pipeline integrity from a strategic and front-line perspective.

This involves assessing anomalies and defects, performing calculations and modelling, and developing repair scopes. You will also work with pipeline management systems, conducting benchmarking and audits to ensure optimal performance.

You will be part of a high-performing team of integrity professionals, working on projects that shape our future. Your expertise will drive transformations towards a smart and sustainable future.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in hydrocarbons or chemical environments. Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • 5-10 years of work experience, preferably within an integrity function in a hydrocarbons or chemical environment.
  • Familiarity with CMMS interfaces such as SAP and workflow is necessary.
  • You should understand local and international standards covering the management of high-pressure pipelines and associated equipment.
  • Highly developed computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio are required.
  • You should have a good understanding of computerised integrity management software/databases.
  • Experience with risk management and process safety concepts is desirable.
  • You should be able to review inspection reports and provide repair recommendations.
