As a highly skilled Pipeline Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering oil and gas pipeline projects with expertise.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for leading the development and support of FEED and Designs studies including detailed design calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain scoping documents such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria and alignment sheets to facilitate effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate and participate in Risk assessment & SMS workshops to mitigate potential risks and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Communicate proactively with Project Managers and Team Members to guarantee that projects are delivered within scope, schedule and budget requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering degrees.

A minimum of 8 years' experience in designing Oil & Gas pipelines and associated assemblies is necessary.

Proven Australian experience in pipeline design including concept development, FEED and detail design phases is essential.

Knowledge of Pipeline Integrity and Operations and Maintenance philosophies will be advantageous.

In-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian Standards, acts, regulations and codes related to the pipeline industry is mandatory.

Engineers Australia Chartered Engineer or equivalent is required. Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (current or eligible to attain).
