Key Responsibilities:
- Develop customer strategies to drive new sales growth and expand share of wallet with existing customers.
- Oversee account planning and management to identify growth opportunities, assess risks, set KPIs and allocate resources effectively.
- Pursue business development opportunities by fostering relationships and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
- Drive sales initiatives by engaging account reps, understanding customer needs, securing deals and negotiating contract terms.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training to educate customers and employees on product features and best practices.
- Manage team performance by leading sales training, optimizing processes and ensuring governance through KPIs reporting.
- Evaluate financial metrics to manage sales expenses, set financial targets and ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance and risk mitigation by monitoring contract adherence and implementing preventative strategies.
- Optimize sales processes and governance by streamlining workflows, improving resource prioritization and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Analyze business performance by tracking metrics, analyzing trends and adjusting strategies to align with company goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
- Extensive experience in sales management or major accounts management.
- Business to Business selling and servicing.
- Experience in leading, motivating, coaching and performance managing a team.
- Tertiary qualified or equivalent formal studies in business, commerce or marketing related discipline.
