Family Law Paralegal

Established family law firm seeks a dedicated Family Law Paralegal to support their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal administration, preferably with experience in family law.

The Role:

  • Draft and edit legal documents and correspondence
  • Prepare briefs for counsel
  • Liaise with the Family Law Court
  • Conduct online research
  • Manage diaries, emails, and appointments for the team
  • Organize mediation sessions
  • Liaise with clients
  • Handle billing processes
  • Perform occasional dictaphone typing
  • Electronically file documents

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months of experience as a paralegal in a law firm, preferably in family law
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
