About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Family Lawyer to fill this pivotal position.

In this role, you will provide exceptional legal representation and guidance to clients facing complex family law issues. You will also mentor and motivate members of the family lawyers team while fostering a collaborative and successful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a senior member in a family lawyers team, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring a high standard of client service.
  • Provide exceptional legal representation to clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, property settlements, child custody and support, and domestic violence.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Negotiate and mediate complex family law issues.
  • Appear in court and represent clients effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant family law legislation and case law.

Qualifications:

  • Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and in good standing.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in complex family law matters.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and motivate junior lawyers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a strong understanding of the sensitivities surrounding family law issues.
