Family Law Paralegal Opportunity

At our boutique law firm, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic team. As a Family Law Paralegal, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our family lawyers in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.

  • Draft and edit complex legal documents and correspondence with precision and accuracy.
  • Prepare comprehensive briefs for Counsel, ensuring all necessary information is included.
  • Liaise closely with the Family Law Court, managing deadlines and communication effectively.
  • Conduct thorough online research to support case preparation.
  • Manage diaries, emails, and appointments for the team, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Organize mediation sessions, facilitating smooth communication between parties.
  • Liaise regularly with clients, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Handle billing processes efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Occasionally provide dictaphone typing services as required.
  • E-filing of documents in a timely and accurate manner.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a minimum 12 months experience as a paralegal in a law firm, preferably in family law. Legal assistants with family law experience are also encouraged to apply. As you will be meeting with clients, you will be professionally presented at all times.

We are a well-established boutique law firm based in the Brisbane CBD. Our team consists of 15 staff members, who work collaboratively and maintain a friendly and professional environment.
