Job Description

The role of the Business Partner is to support operational leaders in their people-related decisions, providing expert guidance and solutions to maintain a positive workplace culture.

This includes implementing strategies and initiatives across talent planning, learning and development, employment relations, performance management, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will have experience in HR Business Partnering or generalist HR functions, ideally within FMCG or a similarly fast-paced environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide operational advice, support, and solutions on people matters.
    • Implement strategies and initiatives across talent planning, learning and development, culture, employment relations, performance management, and employee engagement.
    • Partner with leaders to support key ER/IR processes including performance management, absenteeism, workplace investigations, medical terminations, grievances, and EA negotiations.
    • Support change management initiatives to ensure minimal industrial impact, strong employee engagement, and business continuity.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in HR Business Partnering or generalist HR functions, ideally within FMCG or a similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering HR initiatives and programs, especially in onboarding, training coordination, and employee engagement.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise Bargaining processes and negotiations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
