About the Role

EML is seeking an experienced Return to Work Claims Specialist to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our injury management team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality engagement to all stakeholders involved in the return-to-work process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver injury management, return to work, and claims management services that drive early and safe return to work
  • Conduct thorough assessments of workers and employers to identify and proactively drive the resolution of biopsychosocial barriers
  • Educate and inform stakeholders on the return to work process, legislative requirements, and premium impact
  • Coordinate and lead worksite meetings with workers and employers
  • Provide on-the-spot advice, approval, and education to resolve or procure tailored services
  • Proactively engage and partner with the treating team to drive workers' capacity for work
  • Deliver timely decisions and approvals within legislative requirements and delegations

About You

  • Registered with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Health Nurse
  • Prior experience in a clinical role or injury management field, educating workers and employers on the health benefits of safe work
  • Sound working knowledge and understanding of work injury insurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build trust, engage, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to make decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and contribute to an evolving program of work
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
