We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Planner to join our fast-paced high-performing team in a complex apparel business dealing with high numbers of SKU's. The ideal candidate will have high volume Apparel, Pharmaceutical or Grocery experience, be a confident communicator, and understand International Supply Chain documentation.

The Role

As a Senior Supply Planner, you will be leading and mentoring a small hub of junior supply planners. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the buy and creating POs for the brands
  • Creating POs to meet requirements and lead times
  • Liaising with vendors and planning teams on order status
  • Working with Freight Forwarders to ensure all POs are in their system and investigating discrepancies
  • Monitoring inbound shipments with freight forwarders and suppliers
  • Finding consolidation opportunities – vessel capacity and schedules
  • Ensuring pricing, duty, commissions, and royalties are correct on all shipped POs
  • Monitoring and reviewing shipping conditions
  • Communicating regularly with planning teams on any delays
  • Coordinating with Warehouse and 3rd parties to schedule inbound deliveries
  • Ensuring delivery is received according to agreed schedules
  • Checking pricing issues and raising credits prior to customs clearance
  • Tracking sales samples and promo materials – goods receipt and billing
  • Running reports in SAP to identify issues and resolve

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Experience with Apparel/Pharmaceutical/Grocery
  • Ability to work with a high number of SKU's (1000's)
  • Understanding of International trade and logistics practices – documentation, Free Trade Agreements, and Certificate of Origin
  • Customer-focused with sound problem-solving and time management skills
  • Adaptable and willing to learn with high attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills – Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc.

What We Offer

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include:
