About the Role

AUS Medtronic Australia is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning Manager to join our team in Sydney. This exciting opportunity will involve leading the development and execution of demand forecasting processes to meet customer requirements.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in the Integrated Business Planning process, working closely with Marketing and Global Planning teams to review sales trends, understand demand drivers, provide input into forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Global Planning teams to review demand trends, seasonality, and provide data-driven insights to increase Forecast Value Add, Forecast Accuracy, and Bias.
  • Develop and coordinate Phase In and Phase Out (PIPO) plans in collaboration with Marketing and commercial partners to mitigate excess and obsolescence risk.
  • Facilitate monthly Tactical and Regional Demand Planning Reviews as a critical step in the IBP cycle to generate a consensus demand plan.
  • Maintain Master Data Maintenance in Blue Yonder (BY) including Segmentation.
  • Partner cross-functionally to analyze demand planning and inventory management processes to identify potential improvements.
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with Global teams to ensure ANZ's requirements are clearly understood and met, ensuring smooth and timely supply of product.
  • Drive process excellence by championing the IBP process, continuous improvement, and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Degree in business or formal tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations Management.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, with an emphasis on Demand/Supply Chain Planning.
  • Able to demonstrate a good understanding of Supply Chain Principles.
  • Able to demonstrate a background in Supply Chain Analysis.
  • Experience with advanced supply chain planning systems such as SAP R3, APO SNP.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, plus a competitive benefits package, we offer a wide range of benefits, resources, and compensation plans designed to support you at every career and life stage.
