We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our residential construction team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering results-driven solutions.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive operational strategies aligned with our overall objectives. This will involve:

• Strategising improvements and a longer-term vision for operations, including drafting / production estimating/project delivery people and processes

• Driving continuous improvement across operations teams, setting clear KPIs and collaborating closely with frontline leaders and their teams

• Benchmarking service standards and contributing to the delivery of high-impact customer experiences

• Designing, implementing and optimising team structures to ensure resources are deployed in the most efficient and effective manner

• Identifying and establishing strategic partnerships and alliances that can contribute to our growth and expansion

• Overseeing budget planning and management, ensuring that operations are executed within budget while maximising revenue and cost-efficiency

• Inspiring, coordinating and driving the performance of the team, and elevating performance through mentoring, inspiring and coaching

• Providing regular management reports to senior leadership and supporting the COO with key projects and initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of relevant management and operational experience coupled with tertiary-level qualifications
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the residential construction sector (broad exposure across sales/drafting/estimating/construction)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
  • Excellent strategic planning and operational execution abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve complex problems
