About the Role:

  • We are seeking a professional to oversee daily operations of a residential setting and lead a team of support workers.
  • The successful candidate will provide coaching and develop opportunities for team members, overseeing manual handling activities and household tasks.
  • They will work collaboratively with participants' care teams, ensuring care plans are met and support services are of high quality.
  • The role involves ensuring participant documentation is regularly reviewed and up-to-date, conducting new support staff inductions, and managing conflict within the team.
  • General administration duties are also required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum Cert III in Individual Support and/or Mental Health or similar qualification
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
  • First Aid Certificate with CPR

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage a team of support workers, providing guidance and development opportunities
  • To oversee daily operations of the residential setting, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents
  • To work collaboratively with participants' care teams, ensuring care plans are met and support services are of high quality
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date participant documentation
