About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic beverage service manager to lead our team of baristas and drive customer satisfaction.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for coffee, leadership skills, and a flair for creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of baristas to deliver exceptional coffee and customer service experience.
  • Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure seamless cafe management.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the cafe environment.
  • Manage inventory and place orders for essential supplies, including coffee beans, milk, and equipment maintenance.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Maintain and repair coffee equipment as needed to prevent downtime and ensure optimal operation.
  • Create a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters collaboration and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities, with a focus on delivering a superior customer experience.
  • Able to handle high-pressure situations with a calm and composed demeanor.
  • Experience with inventory management and staff training.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, to meet business needs.
