Job Description:

As a dynamic and energetic team member, you will assist the Food & Beverage Director with the efficient running of our bar in accordance with established brand standards and ensuring maximum guest satisfaction. You will deliver high-quality food and beverage services to our guests and create classic, innovative, and creative drinks that meet their needs and expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the outlet efficiently according to the concept statement, providing courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service at all times.
  • Ensure par stocks are strictly adhered to for all operating equipment, supplies, and inventoried items.
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in planning the outlet weekly roster and work schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Effectively manage payroll through a flexible workforce and close cooperation with other Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Supervise Food and Beverage service associates in the performance of their duties and delegate responsibilities accordingly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate issued in Victoria
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills
  • Familiarity with wine styles and grape varieties and other beverage items
  • Good trainer with ability to facilitate at all levels
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting, and productivity requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience as Team Leader or Assistant Manager in a hotel or large bar
  • University Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management specialising in Food and Beverage Management is desirable
  • Sound wine, spirit, and cocktail knowledge - barista skills are advantageous
  • The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Must have unrestricted Australian Working Rights
