Lead Culinary Services

We are seeking a highly motivated culinary leader to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing and maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and service. You will lead by example, inspire your team and foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and innovation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement seasonal menus that meet the diverse needs and preferences of our residents
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering and budgeting to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to provide tailored meal solutions that enhance resident satisfaction and well-being
  • Liaise with families and external stakeholders to build strong relationships and promote our services

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need relevant qualifications and experience in hospitality management, particularly in aged care settings. You must possess excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to motivate and empower your team.

  • Possession of a Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or equivalent qualification
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within Aged Care leading a large diverse team
  • Strong decision-making, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
