Lead Maternal and Child Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Maternal and Child Health Nurse to join our team.
This role involves providing health monitoring and support to children and families in a diverse community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing the recommended schedule of health monitoring activities to children from birth to 6 years at key development ages, as specified by relevant authorities.
- Identifying and providing additional and/or flexible services and programs to meet the needs of families from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
- Maintaining accurate, confidential records of daily activities, child/family profiles, and other required documents.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Registered Nurse and Midwife qualification with additional qualifications in Maternal and Child Health.
- Knowledge of well child development and deviations, post-natal recovery of the mother, lactation establishment and maintenance, and family dynamics impacting the child.
- Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to engage people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
