Job Summary

Safety Business Partner sought to support leadership teams in implementing ARTC's safety management systems, enhancing safety outcomes and promoting a culture of ownership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert services and assurance to drive performance improvements and align initiatives with the broader business strategy.
  • Acting as a trusted business partner for leaders, offering coaching, guidance, reporting, and support on safety-related matters and initiatives.
  • Fostering collaboration and customer focus among team members to provide high-quality advice, coaching, and services.
  • Ensuring compliance with ARTC's policies and legislation while driving improved performance.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS and/or environmental management or related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in civil and/or rail engineering activities and projects.
  • Proven ability to analyse management systems and interpret engineering codes.
  • Knowledge of Work, Health and Safety principles and relevant rail safety legislation.
  • Highly developed negotiation, influencing, analytical, problem-resolution, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
