The role of Professor/Discipline Lead in nursing presents an exceptional opportunity to spearhead and enhance outstanding nursing education and research at a national and international level. As a key figure within the institution, you will play a pivotal part in shaping high-quality nursing education for the Faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the development, delivery, and enhancement of high-quality nursing education for the Faculty.
  • Nurture strong research partnerships and elevate the institution's reputation through interdisciplinary research in health systems and nursing.
  • Ensure alignment with national priorities, workforce needs, and the institution's strategic vision.
Essential Qualifications
  • A PhD in Nursing or a related field, and/or relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated excellence in nursing education and research, with a national/international profile.
  • Registered Nurse eligibility for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
