Education Leadership Position

The Victorian Institute of Technology (VIT) is a leading education provider dedicated to delivering high-quality educational opportunities and outcomes for students.


As an Education Leader, you will play a key role in shaping the academic vision and strategy for our Business discipline. You will be responsible for ensuring academic excellence and quality delivery at VIT campuses and online.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the development and implementation of academic programs, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement VIT policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with relevant frameworks and standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate courses across various VIT campuses, promoting effective teaching and learning practices.
  • Teach higher education courses, providing support and guidance to faculty members and collaborating with external stakeholders.
  • Participate in governance committees and activities, contributing to the development and achievement of strategic goals.

Requirements:



  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role, demonstrating ability to build strong teams and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrated teaching skills, enthusiasm for educating international students, and knowledge of curriculum planning and content delivery.
  • AQF 10 qualification or equivalent blend of qualification and experience, along with a teaching qualification and high-level interpersonal communication skills.
