We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing quality control testing on water-based emulsions, calibrating equipment, preparing simple solutions, and ensuring lab supplies are well stocked.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain calibration of quality control instrumentation
  • Complete routine housekeeping and restocking of consumables as required
  • Process checklists and sample management as necessary
  • Collaborate with logistics, operations, and quality departments to ensure priorities are met
  • Conduct inspections across all stages of production and dispatch
  • Prepare and maintain test data for review and analysis
  • Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
  • Identify areas for quality improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns promptly
  • Perform data entry into SAP and Excel

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated understanding of test equipment preferred
  • Experience in inspection and/or production welcomed
  • Working knowledge of mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions essential
  • Able to perform light duty repetitive tasks as required
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to analyze and interpret complex information

A Bachelor of Science degree is mandatory. In addition to the above-mentioned requirements, we are looking for someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of professionalism at all times.
