Company Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to join our team in the Western suburbs. As a key member of our operational team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that service requests are efficiently actioned and that queries from customer service or residents are addressed promptly.
About the Role
This is a 3-month temporary opportunity to work as a Business Support Officer for a large Council. You will be responsible for managing and actioning a high volume of service requests, responding to queries from customer service and residents in a timely manner, and supporting the team in operational processes and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Action and manage a high volume of service requests.
- Respond to queries from customer service and residents in a timely manner.
- Support the team in operational processes and communication.
- Provide accurate and timely information to members of the public via telephone and email.
- Serve as a representative of the Council, delivering services and advice in a courteous and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Experience in an operational environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to develop visually appealing documents and templates.
- Proficient in formatting correspondence and Council documents in accordance with the corporate style guide.
- Experience in inputting and maintaining accurate information in Council databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
