Medical Professional Opportunity in Tennant Creek

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation. In this role, you will provide high-quality healthcare services to the population of Tennant Creek and surrounding Barkly communities.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver child and maternal health services to our clients.
- Conduct universal and extended child health checks, as well as developmental screening opportunistically and as required.
- Assist in the development of care plans for children with chronic conditions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
- Undertake case management and care coordination for children with complex needs that require multiple specialist service input.
- Coordinate and implement the Childhood Immunisation Program, ensuring adherence to the state schedule.
- Provide reports and support to Territory Families (Department of Children and Families) for children in care.
- Deliver ear health screening and associated services, including staff education on child and maternal health.
- Enhance staff knowledge, skills, and understanding of child health service delivery within our primary healthcare setting.
- Coordinate specialist visits and utilise electronic patient information management systems to identify care needs and document patient consultations.
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- A current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration.
- Familiarity with the CARPA Standard Treatment Manual.
- Demonstrated knowledge, interpersonal skills, and ability to sensitively communicate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, values, and beliefs.
- Ability to communicate sensitively and culturally appropriate.
- Current certification to administer vaccines in the NT (or able to obtain).
- Post Graduate Qualifications preferably in Remote Area Nursing or Child Health Nursing.
- High level of communication, negotiation, and consultation skills.
- Knowledge and experience monitoring health and safety standards.
- A current NT drivers' license.
- Meet Public Health Orders for health industry workers in NT.
- Be full COVID-19 Vaccinated.

- An estimated salary range of $104,817 to $111,990 per annum.
- Up to $5,000 relocation assistance and up to $5,000 repatriation assistance.
- Six weeks annual leave plus 10 days of personal/carer's leave.
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 pa., plus $2,600 meals and entertainment allowance.
- Subsidised accommodation for candidates outside the Barkly region.
- A remote retention allowance of $750.
