Procurement and Sourcing Expert

We are seeking a skilled Procurement and Sourcing Expert to join our dynamic team, supporting strategic sourcing functions across various categories. This role offers the opportunity to develop and implement effective procurement strategies, manage supply chains, and negotiate with vendors.

About the Role:
  • Establish and execute category plans, strategies, and frameworks to meet client needs and expectations
  • Present project outcomes and key recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Develop optimal sourcing strategies achieving consistent, quality outcomes across diverse client bases
  • Conduct negotiations on critical, complex supply arrangements and manage contract negotiations
  • Manage key contracts and their administration while ensuring optimal vendor delivery
  • Identify and evaluate new market trends and opportunities to deliver strategic procurement decisions
  • Provide advice to key stakeholders and clients on all aspects of procurement category strategy
  • Report on procurement activity in terms of progress, results, client satisfaction, value, and cost
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary education in Business, Commerce, Economics, or related fields
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation
  • Work experience with exposure to IFM (integrated facilities management) principles and/or experience will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organisational levels
  • Experience in financial modelling, feasibility studies, and total cost of ownership analysis
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Sound proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
